Alex began her nursing career as an ICU nurse at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She started working at TransSouth Healthcare as a nurse in 2018. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of TN Knoxville, then completed her MSN/FNP degree and graduated with honors from Austin Peay State University. She continues to work at TransSouth as a Nurse Practitioner.

Alex lives with her husband, Nick, and enjoys reading and antique shopping in her spare time.
